Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase of $19.99. You own it forever — no recurring charges, no feature locks after purchase, no paywalled updates.
What's the difference between the solver models?
3DOF is the standard point-mass solver — fast and accurate for most ranges. 4DOF adds spin-stabilization effects. 6DOF is the full rigid-body model used in professional fire-control systems. Pejsa is an algebraic model popular for its simplicity and speed. Pro unlocks all four.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The ballistic solver, all profiles, topo maps (pre-cached), and every tool runs fully offline. An internet connection is only used for weather auto-fill and iCloud sync.
Which Kestrel meters are supported?
All Kestrel meters with Bluetooth (Kestrel 5700, 5500, 5000 series, and Link-enabled models). Pairs via Bluetooth and streams wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity, and pressure directly into the solver.
How do I access the LE/Military features?
TAK/ATAK, MGRS, DA Form 5517, anti-materiel data, barrier penetration, and encrypted CoT are gated behind a credential verification. Email us at support@zima-logistics.com with your agency or unit information.
My reticle isn't in the app — can you add it?
Yes. Use the DIY reticle creator to build a custom reticle, or send us the subtension data and we'll add it to the library. Manufacturers can submit official data via the reticle coverage page.
Is my data backed up?
All profiles, DOPE entries, loads, and settings sync automatically via iCloud when enabled. You can also export individual profiles as QR codes or JSON files for manual backup.
